How the math works Choose your units and Sex, then enter your weight, the number of Standard drinks (14 g of alcohol each) and the Time since first drink in hours. The calculator uses the Widmark formula: BAC = alcohol in grams ÷ (body weight in grams × r) × 100, where r is 0.68 for men and 0.55 for women, then takes off 0.015% for every hour since you started.
