Mouse DPI Calculator

eDPI, distance per 360° turn (cm/360), the right sensitivity after changing DPI, and sensitivity conversion between games.

The Mouse DPI Calculator turns your mouse DPI and in-game sensitivity into numbers you can actually compare: eDPI, and how many centimetres you move the mouse for a full 360° turn. It also tells you what sensitivity to use after changing DPI, and how to carry your aim over to another game. DPI, sensitivity and eDPI DPI (also called CPI) is how many counts your mouse sends to the computer for every inch it moves. 800 DPI means 800 counts per inch. In-game sensitivity multiplies those counts. eDPI, or effective DPI, is simply DPI × sensitivity. Two players at 800 DPI × 1.2 and 1600 DPI × 0.6 both have 960 eDPI and turn at exactly the same speed in that game. Why cm per 360° is the number to compare Every game turns the camera by a different angle per mouse count, called its yaw. That is why the same eDPI feels completely different in CS2 and Overwatch. cm per 360° measures the real hand movement for one full turn, so it means the same thing in every game and with every mouse. Converting between games just keeps that distance the same.
